The results from relevant studies were summarized.Results<\/strong>: The literature search identified 322 references, of which 16 were included in this review, comprising 7 qualitative, 8 quantitative, and 1 mixed-methods study. The quantitative studies, using various research instruments, reported on a range of PE and PZ aspects, with the data predominantly showing positive patient responses. The qualitative studies revealed patients’ perceptions of OMT. These can be summarized as patient-centered, holistic, thorough, and as a treatment option that could be effective for certain conditions.
