In osteopathy, the temporomandibular joint (= TMJ, temporomandibular joint), like any other part of the body, can only be understood in the overall context of the organism. Therefore, in osteopathy, at the beginning of the examination for temporomandibular joint disorders, general tests are carried out to identify which areas of the body are also involved in the temporomandibular dysfunction complex.
